Do You Know Jesus?
You Are Welcome Here
No matter your story, where you have been, what you have done, or how far from God you may feel, you are not beyond His reach.
God made you. He knows you. He sees your life clearly, and He still calls you to come to Him.
The Christian faith is not about pretending you have everything together. It is about coming honestly to God, recognizing your need for Him, and placing your faith in Jesus Christ.
If you are searching, hurting, curious, convicted, or ready to begin again, this page is for you.
Who Is Jesus?
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior of the world, and the only way back to the Father.
He is not merely a teacher, prophet, moral example, or religious figure. Jesus is God the Son in the flesh. He came into the world to save sinners, reveal the heart of God, and bring people back into relationship with Him.
Jesus lived without sin. He taught with authority. He healed the broken. He welcomed the humble. He confronted evil. He willingly died on the cross for our sins, and He rose again from the grave.
He is alive today.
And He is still calling people to follow Him.
Why Do We Need Him?
The Bible teaches that every person has sinned and fallen short of God’s glory.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23 KJV
Sin is not only the obvious wrong things people do. Sin is the deeper condition of the human heart turned away from God. It shows up in pride, selfishness, rebellion, unbelief, bitterness, deception, lust, hatred, and the desire to live life on our own terms.
Sin separates us from God.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6:23 KJV
That is why we need more than advice, self-improvement, religion, or good intentions.
We need forgiveness.
We need rescue.
We need a Savior.
What Did Jesus Do for Us?
God did not leave us without hope.
Jesus Christ came to do what we could never do for ourselves. He took our sin seriously enough to die for it, and He loved us enough to offer forgiveness through His sacrifice.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 KJV
On the cross, Jesus gave His life for sinners. He bore the punishment we deserved, shed His blood, and made the way for us to be forgiven and reconciled to God.
Then He rose again.
The resurrection means Jesus is not a dead religious figure. He is the risen Savior. Sin did not defeat Him. Death did not hold Him. The grave did not have the final word.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16 KJV
How Can You Be Saved?
Salvation is not earned by being good enough.
It is not achieved through religious performance, personal effort, church attendance, or trying to balance out your wrongs with good deeds.
Salvation is received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
The Bible says:
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Romans 10:9 KJV
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Romans 10:13 KJV
To come to Jesus means turning from sin, trusting Him as Savior and Lord, and placing your life in His hands.
You do not need perfect words.
You need a sincere heart.
A Prayer If You Are Ready
If you are ready to turn to Jesus Christ, you can pray honestly from your heart.
This prayer does not save you because the words are perfect. Salvation is found in Jesus Christ. But prayer can be the way you call on Him, confess your need, and place your trust in Him.
You can pray something like this:
Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the grave. I know I have sinned, and I need Your forgiveness. I turn from my sin and place my trust in You. Please forgive me, save me, and lead my life from this day forward. I receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for Your mercy and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
If You Prayed and Meant It
If you called on Jesus Christ in sincere faith, trusting Him as Savior and Lord, take that step seriously.
Salvation is not found in repeating words alone. It is found in truly trusting Jesus Christ.
If you have turned to Him, do not treat this as the end of something. Treat it as the beginning of a new life with God.
You are not called to walk alone.
What To Do Next
Begin with simple, faithful steps.
Start reading the Bible. The Gospel of John is a good place to begin because it clearly shows who Jesus is and why He came.
Talk to God daily in prayer. Be honest with Him. You do not need impressive words. Speak to Him with a sincere heart.
Find a Bible-believing church where you can grow, learn, worship, and be encouraged by other believers.
Tell someone you trust that you have decided to follow Jesus.
Keep seeking God, learning His Word, and taking the next faithful step.
