Who Is Jesus Christ?

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior of the world, and the center of the Christian faith. The Bible teaches that He did not begin as an ordinary man who later became important. He is God the Son, who came into the world in human flesh. He was born in humility, lived without sin, taught the truth of God with authority, showed compassion to the broken, healed the sick, welcomed sinners, and revealed the truth, mercy, holiness, and love of our Heavenly Father in the flesh.

But Jesus did not come only to teach, heal, or set an example. He came to save. The Bible teaches that humanity is separated from God by sin, and that we cannot make ourselves right with Him by our own goodness, effort, or religious works. Jesus willingly went to the cross to bear the punishment sinners deserved. He died for our sins, was buried, and rose again from the grave, defeating sin and death. He is the risen Savior and the only way back to God.

Through Jesus Christ, forgiveness is offered, hearts can be made new, and eternal life is given to all who place their faith in Him. If you do not know Christ, we invite you to know Him, trust Him, and follow Him. It is the greatest decision you will ever make.

What Does It Mean to Be a Christian?

Being a Christian includes many things, but the heart of it is simple: a Christian is someone who belongs to God through faith in Jesus Christ. It means trusting Jesus as Savior and Lord, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and placing your life in His hands. Christianity is not built on trying to earn God’s love. It begins with receiving His grace through faith in Christ.

Being a Christian is more than a label, a family background, or a religious routine. It is a life changed by God’s grace, grounded in His truth, and shaped by learning to follow Jesus in everyday life. As you grow in faith, God begins to change how you think, how you live, what you love, and where you place your hope. A Christian does not follow Jesus perfectly, but sincerely — learning to trust Him, obey Him, and walk with Him day by day.

What Does It Mean to Follow Jesus?

Living by faith means trusting God even when you cannot see the whole path in front of you. It means believing His Word, depending on His grace, and learning to walk with Him one step at a time. Following Jesus is not only agreeing with His teachings or knowing facts about Him. It means trusting Him personally, turning from sin, and walking with Him as Savior and Lord.

Living by faith means believing without seeing. Let me put it this way: I believe in God like a blind man believes in the sun — not because he can see it, but because he can feel its warmth. Faith is not pretending life is easy or acting like you never have questions. It is choosing to trust God’s truth, follow Jesus, and depend on Him even when life is uncertain.

To live by faith is to begin living with a new direction shaped by God’s truth. It is not about being perfect. We are all flawed, only God is perfect. It is about knowing Christ, belonging to Him, and learning to live each day in faith, obedience, and dependence on God. As you follow Jesus, He teaches you how to trust Him more deeply, stand more firmly, and walk more faithfully in everyday life.

Do You Know Jesus?

Knowing about Jesus is not the same as knowing Him personally. Real faith is not just hearing His name, believing a few things about Him, or trying to be a better person. It is coming to Him with an open heart, receiving His forgiveness, and beginning a new life through His grace. If something in you is stirring, if you know it is time to stop carrying life on your own, this is your invitation to turn fully toward Him, trust Him, and begin to follow Christ.
