THE GRACE TO TURN AROUND
We all make mistakes. Sometimes we speak too quickly, choose poorly, or ignore what we already knew was right. When that happens, the temptation is to defend ourselves, minimize it, or hide from the consequences.
But Solomon gives us a better way. In Proverbs, he tells us that hiding our wrong keeps us stuck, while confessing it and turning from it leads us to mercy.
Owning a mistake can be painful. It means accepting correction, apologizing without excuses and facing consequences we wish we could avoid. Grace doesn’t mean our choices never matter. It means they do not have to define the rest of our lives.
Grace teaches us that our worst choices do not have to become our final destination.
Remember that God gives us room to turn around. We can admit where we went wrong, learn from it, make things right where we can, and start walking in a new direction. That is the beauty of repentance. We can not erase the past but we can let God redeem our future.
MOMENT OF PRAYER
Father, give me the humility to own my mistakes and the courage to face what comes with them. Thank You for Your mercy when I confess and turn back to You. Help me learn, grow, and walk forward without carrying yesterday’s shame into today.

STAND FIRM TODAY
Do not hide from what needs to be faced. Own it, learn from it, receive God’s mercy, and make the U-turn. Yesterday may be part of your story, but by His grace, it does not get to decide where you go next.
